Bob Joseph McClain

Bob Joseph McClain, 79, of Wasco, passed away on Dec. 16, 2024. He was born on June 26, 1945, in California, son of the late Travis and Virginia McClain. He is survived by his wife, Barbara McClain, and their five children including four sons, Bobby, Dean, Denny, and David McClain, and a daughter, Melody., as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was known by those who loved him as "Bad Bob of Bakersfield." He was a long haul trucker most of his life and loved to tell stories. Bad Bob never met a stranger.

He married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Hathcock, in 1964. They had a wonderful 60 years together. Bad Bob enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren and taught them all how to play poker. He enjoyed playing many games of poker with them anytime they came to visit.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. More details will be announced soon.
