June 6, 1955 – Nov. 13, 2024
Helen Marie Tyler Ballard, 69, of Wasco, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 6, 1955, in Bakersfield, to Geneal and Augusta Tyler, Helen lived a life defined by faith, love and kindness. She shared God's love generously, offering prayer and encouragement to all she met.
Helen grew up in Wasco, graduating from Wasco Union High School in 1973. She found her faith early and became a devoted member of Apostolic Faith Temple Church. Helen's life was filled with cherished memories of family, cooking with her mother and church activities.

Helen loved plants, gospel music, shopping and family game nights. She gave her family a life rich in love, humor and faith, reminding them, "Faith the size of a mustard seed is all you need."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geneal and Augusta Tyler; siblings Janice Singh, Brenda Randolph, Geneal Jr. and Felix; and dear cousins Janetta Singh, Louise Holloway and Donald Dodd.
Helen is survived by her husband, Willie Lee; children Marcus (Jenna), Chris (Stela), Jonathan (Jocelyn), Whitney and Jasmine; brothers Willie and David Tyler; sister Anita Grigsby; grandchildren Eliana, Emerie, Nora and Carmelo; and many beloved family members and friends.
