The Richland Junior High Lady Trojans varsity volleyball team won the SYAA Championship on Oct. 26, ending the season undefeated with 24 games won. They competed against eight teams from Shafter, Wasco, Delano, McFarland and Richgrove in the Delon event. The junior varsity team finished the season in third place.
