Serving the community since 1970
The Gossamer Grove Trunk or Treat event was a delight, setting a new attendance record with over 300 people and 23 decorated cars. The family-friendly Halloween event, organized by Villagers Inc., has grown each year, drawing neighbors together for a night of festive fun, food and candy, according to the organizers.
Villagers Inc. founder James Osborne appreciated the overwhelming support that helped make the event successful. "We at Villagers Inc. cannot thank our community enough for coming together and making this event happen this year. This is why we do this: the smiles on the faces of these kids, the gratitude of the parents, and the support of those who decorate their cars and give their time," Osborne shared.
In addition to enthusiastic community participation, partners CAPK Food Bank, Little Caesars Pizza and Papa John's Pizza provided donations of candy and pizza, which were distributed to attendees throughout the night. "It is because of them that we can feed all the kiddos who come out and give out candy," Osborne said.
