April 23

Luis Antonio Mendez Jr., 38, was arrested at the corner of 1st Street and Maple Avenue for smuggling a controlled substance into jail/prison, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

April 25

Berta Esperanza Lopez, 36, was arrested in the 500 block of E Street on a local misdemeanor warrant.

Ryan Sims, 52, was arrested in the 915 block of Poso Drive for public intoxication and possession of paraphernalia.

April 26

Elijah Gonzalez, 33, was arrested on the corner of F Street and Poso Drive for driving on a suspended/revoked license for DUI.

Eric Anthony Santamaria, 24, was arrested on the corner of F Street and Poso Drive for driving on a suspended/revoked license for a DUI and driving at unsafe speed.

Fanny Ariana Sanchez, 36, was arrested on the corner of F Street and Poso Drive on an outside misdemeanor warrant arrest.

April 27

Lionel Lopez, 39, was arrested in the 400 block of 3rd Street for second degree burglary.

Jorge Manzano, 41, was arrested on the corner of 3rd and Maple Ave. for an outside misdemeanor warrant.

Anthony Flores, 31, was arrested on the corner of G Street and 16th Street for possession of a stolen vehicle, obstruction/resisting arrest and on an outside felony warrant.SHAFTER

Christopher Sergio Acosta, 45, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of Central Valley Highway for obstruction and on a bench warrant/failure to appear on felony charge.

Raul Zamora Cabrera, 39, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block West Lerdo Highway on an outside agency warrant.

Erick Alcala Arellano, 33, of Shafter, was arrested in the 300 block of California Avenue for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

April 25

Nathan Quinonez, 27, of Shafter, was arrested at Potter Street and Atlantic Avenue for trespassing – occupying property without consent.

Jose Juan Tovar, 49, of Shafter, was arrested at South Shafter Avenue and West Los Angeles on an outside agency warrant.

April 26

Miguel Angel Zamora Medina, 39, of Shafter, was arrested at Rodriguez Avenue and South Wall Street on an outside warrant and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

Edvin Ajuchan Chiquito, 36, of Bakersfield, was arrested in the 4900 block of Coronado Street West in Bakersfield for assault with a deadly weapon not firearm. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 23

Antonio Diaz Lopez, 32, of Lost Hills, was arrested in the 21000 block of Highway 46 in Lost Hills for disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Kern County jail.

April 28

Michael Wayne Grays, 39, of Bakersfield, was arrested in the 19000 block of Shafter Avenue in Shafter for attempted murder, battery with serious bodily injury, criminal threats and assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
