A Wasco Tribune story about murals in Wasco last week referenced the 15th Street Playground Park as a city park. It is actually owned by the Wasco Recreation and Parks District, according to manager Chris Serna. “All updates, including the mural, are paid by WRPD. We hired Leo [Alvarez] and that vision was brought through community members, park staff and board members," she said.
