Dec. 15

Alonso Garza, 25, of Shafter, was arrested in the 6600 block of East Lerdo Highway for smuggling a controlled substance into a jail/prison, disorderly conduct and under the influence.

Dec. 16

Alejandra Yasenia Astorga, 29, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of Central Valley Highway on an outside agency warrant.

Gerardo DeLeon Garza, 69, of Shafter, was arrested in the 700 block of Manhattan Avenue for hit and run and property damage.

Dec. 17

Alejandra Yasenia Astorga, 29, of Shafter, was arrested in the 500 block of South Shafter Avenue for disorderly conduct: under influence of a drug and disorderly conduct.

Maria Amparo Jaime, 42, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Poso Avenue for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

Dec. 18

Erick Alcala Arellano, 33, of Shafter, was arrested in the 400 block of West Euclid Avenue for threatening a school, threatening a public officer and obstruction.

Dec. 20

Chelsea Pena, 29, of Shafter, was arrested at Faber and Minter streets on an outside agency warrant.

Dec. 22

Fernando Quevedo, 26, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of East Lerdo Highway for smuggling a controlled substance into a jail/prison, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
