The old Frosty King was demolished and was in the process of being relocated. Frosty King now sits at 683 Central Valley Hwy.
70 years ago: Jan. 8, 1953
The new Shafter High School auditorium was one of the additions to the school district. It was a part of a $17-million bond issue.
