July 10

Jose Santos Sanchez, 64, of Wasco, was arrested in the 700 block of F Street on a misdemeanor bench warrant. He was cited and released at the scene.

Mintzie Monserat Sanchez, 37, of Wasco, was arrested in the 700 block of F Street on a misdemeanor bench warrant. She was cited and released at the scene.

July 12

Ashley Crouch, 36, of Shafter, was arrested near the intersection of Birch Avenue and 12th

Street on a felony bench warrant. She was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jermaine Robert Maston, 38, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of D Street and 16th

Street on felony and misdemeanor bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Marco Pergis, 41, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Poso Street and F Street for

felony battery with serious bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon: not a firearm, prohibited

from owning ammo, and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

July 13

Christopher Martinez, 28, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1900 block of D Street for

misdemeanor domestic violence, stalking and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Alexis Nacom Melgar Lopez, 26, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of 9th Place and

Broadway Street for misdemeanor disorderly conduct: drunk in public. He was booked into the

Kern County Jail.

July 14

Evelyn Janine Sandoval, 32, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of Griffith Avenue and

Margalo Street for felony vehicle theft, misdemeanor false ID, petty theft, obstructing an officer: resisting arrest, delaying a peace officer, making a fictitious check and possessing an access card with intent to use. She was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Alonzo Anthony Garnica, 32, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of Griffith Avenue

and Margalo Street for felony vehicle theft, misdemeanor possession of controlled substance

paraphernalia, unauthorized use of other’s ID, making a fictitious check, petty theft and possessing an access card with intent to use. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Joaquin Carranza Sanchez, 36, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1500 block of Shamrock Court

on felony bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

July 16

Robert Gonzalez, 61, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1200 block of Highway 46 on

misdemeanor bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Rojelio Maza Garcia, 28, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of 6th Street for felony inflicting corporal injury on spouse and misdemeanor violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Heather Nicole Wiley, 37, of Shafter, was arrested in the 700 block of Griffith Avenue for possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Rolando Cesar Saenz, 36, of Shafter, was arrested in the 700 block of Griffith Avenue for possession of a controlled substance for sale, felon prohibited to own firearm, ammunition, etc., possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance while armed with loaded firearm and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Raul Zamora Cabrera, 39, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Central Avenue for obstruction, possession of marijuana over 1 ounce/28.5 grams for sale and on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

July 11

Arthur Joseph Martinez, 39, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of East Lerdo Highway for disorderly conduct: intoxication of drug with alcohol.

July 12

Octavio Luis Gamino, 30, was arrested in the 600 block of Central Valley Highway for forging/altering a vehicle registration, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of an open container and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Jose Antonio Hernandez Bautista, 47, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of West Fresno Avenue for threatening to commit a crime with intent to terrorize, battery on a spouse, damaging a wireless communication device and exhibiting a deadly weapon other than firearm.

Joshua Oros, 29, of Shafter, was arrested in the 600 block of James Street on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a felony charge.

July 14

Carla Mercado Vargas, 42, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Shafter Avenue on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

Rosendo Tellez Jr., 27, of Shafter, was arrested on the Venable Avenue and Central Valley Highway on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a felony charge and bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

Arthur Joseph Martinez, 39, of Shafter, was arrested in the 300 block of South Shafter Avenue for possession of a controlled substance, destroying evidence and obstruction.

July 15

Nicholas Mendez Sanchez, 45, of Shafter, was arrested at South Shafter Avenue and Orange Avenue for battery on a person.

Nicolas Rivas Chavez, 42, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Central Valley Highway for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

Julio Carrasco Chavez, 31, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Central Valley Highway for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

Andy Martinez, 27, of Shafter, was arrested in the 200 block of Central Valley Highway for assault with a deadly weapon: not a firearm.

Alejandra Yasenia Astorga, 28, of Shafter, was arrested in the 500 block of Walker Street for disorderly conduct: under the influence of a drug.
