April 10

Jermaine Matson, 38, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of 16th Street for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and on misdemeanor and felony bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 11

Brannon Applewhite, 26, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1500 block of Bellflower Avenue for felony threatening with intent to terrorize, misdemeanor exhibiting a firearm, fighting in public, CCW on person and disorderly conduct: drunk in public. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Steven Antonio Castillo, 22, of Wasco, was arrested in the 600 block of Central Avenue for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, misdemeanor DUI, hit and run, addict driving vehicle, drive without a license, destroying and concealing evidence and possession of nitrous oxide. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Oscar Chavolla, 29, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1400 block of Bellflower Avenue for misdemeanor fighting in public, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct: drunk in public. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Brandon Joshua Parks, 32, of Wasco, was arrested in the 900 block of Iris Street on a felony probable cause warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Rodolfo Vargas, 36, of Wasco, was arrested in the 500 block of E Street for misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. He was cited and released at the scene.

April 13

Juan Pelayo Gonzalez, 26, of Wasco, was arrested in the 600 block of Maple for misdemeanor battery on a spouse and on a misdemeanor bench warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Arthur Joseph Martinez, 40, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Poplar and 1st Street on a felony bench warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

April 14

Oscar Omar Alvarez, 30, of Wasco, was arrested in the 300 block of Viejo Drive for felony infliction of corporal injury on spouse, misdemeanor willful cruelty to child, petty theft, vandalism and on felony and misdemeanor bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Rafael Maya-Antonio, 31, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Birch Avenue and 6th Street for misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and obstructing officer: resisting arrest. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Jessica Rengifo, 37, of Wasco, was arrested near the intersection of Griffith Avenue and 5th Street on misdemeanor bench warrants. She was cited and released at the scene.

Ryan Shamik Sims, 50, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1900 block of Highway 46 on felony and misdemeanor bench warrants. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Joaquin Melgoza, 38, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1700 block of Poplar Avenue on felony bench warrants and misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Alfredo Bojorquez, 46, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of West Orange on bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

Chelsea Pena, 28, of Shafter, was arrested in the 600 block of Roder Avenue for possession of marijuana over an 1 ounce, selling, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of burglary tools.

April 13

Jose Alonso Lopez, 40, of Shafter, was arrested in the 1860 block of Zerker Road on an outside felony warrant, giving false ID to public officer and forging/altering a vehicle registration.

April 14

Marc Anthony Ayala, 29, of Shafter, was arrested on the East Lerdo Highway and Central Valley Highway on a bench warrant/failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge, possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

April 15

Armando Xsavier Soria Jr., 25, of Shafter, was arrested in the 300 block of West Los Angeles for obstruction, possession of burglary tools and on an outside agency warrant.

Savannah Marie Campoz, 23, of Shafter, was arrested in the 100 block of North Schaidt for violating a court order for domestic violence.

Antonio Angel Gutierrez Jr., 31, of Shafter, was arrested at East Lerdo Highway and 99 for disorderly conduct: alcohol.
