40 years ago: Feb. 2, 1983

Shafter High Students try out the school's first Commodore 64 Computer in Lloyd Robidaux' math class. The desktop computer was introduced August 1982.

20 years ago:Jan. 15, 2003

The Richland School Board's president, Roger Riley, presents retiring district secretary Suzie Dobbs with a certificate of recognition for 20 years of service.

10 years ago:Jan. 16, 2013

The City of Shafter kicked off its centennial celebration in style with a birthday bash held at the Shafter High School cafeteria.
