Pet of the Week: Heidi needs a loving home

Heidi came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. She is protective, brave and dignified. Heidi is a 3-5-year-old chihuahua and is great with staff and other dogs. At the time, it is unknown if Heidi is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children. Her behavior towards children is unknown. Heidi will be available for adoption on Friday, Dec. 9.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility, and we like to give everyone the same opportunity to adopt. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. We do not place holds for adoptions. Adopters are responsible for transportation.

It is on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 8 a.m. on the date they are available. You are welcome to call us the day before their availability to ensure the pet is still for adoption.
