Pet of the Week: Dallas needs a loving home

Dallas came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. The female wirehaired terrier mix is about 3 years old. She is great with staff and other dogs, but has only been tested with large dogs. At the time, it is unknown if Dallas is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats; her behavior towards cats and children is unknown. Dallas will be available for adoption on May 19.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility, and we like to give everyone the same opportunity. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. We do not place holds for adoptions. Adopters are responsible for transportation.

It is a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 8 a.m. on the date they are available.

You are more than welcome to call us at 661-758-7240 the day before their availability to ensure the pet is still available for adoption.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). If you have never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, please email us two references (a veterinarian preferably) and a copy of your 501(c)(3) form to eubarraza@cityofwasco.org.
