Pet of the Week: Wednesday needs a family

Wednesday is available Oct. 22. She is a small, young, female yellow/tan/blond/fawn, white and cream Wirehaired Terrier Mix.

Wednesday was dumped at the shelter alongside with Caroline. She is approximately a 4-5 month-old Wire Haired Terrier. She is great with staff and other dogs. She has been tested with small and large dogs. At this time it is unknown if Wednesday is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from the Wasco Animal Shelter. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. The shelter does not place holds for adoption. Potential adopters are responsible for transportation.

Call the shelter on Oct. 22 to set an appointment to meet her and possibly adopt her that day. It is a first call, first serve animal shelter. Dogs are not adopted out naturally. All dogs will be neutered or spayed once adopted. Depending on the availability of our local vet, it is not a guarantee that the animal will be spayed or neutered the same day.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax exempt 501(c)(3). If you never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, email the shelter two references and a copy of your 501(c)(3) form.

If you have any questions, call the shelter at 661-758-7240.
