Pet of the Week: Red needs a home

Red is an approximately 2-year-old, male, Terrier mix who came in as a stray. Red is a small red/chestnut/orange short-haired Terrier. He is slightly timid toward staff and his behavior will be monitored daily. He is great with other dogs. At the time it is unknown if Red is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats.

He will be available for adoption on April 1. If this is your dog contact the shelter as soon as possible.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility. Adopters can be from out of town or local. Call to set up an appointment to spend some time with him and possibly adopt him that day. The Wasco Animal Shelter is a first-call, first-serve shelter. Appointments made via email are not available.

All dogs will be neutered/spayed once adopted. Depending on the availability of our local vet, it is not a guarantee that the animal will be spayed/neutered the same day.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax exempt 501(c)(3). If you never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, email us two references and a copy of your 501(c)(3) form.

If you have any questions, make sure to give the Wasco Animal Shelter a call at 661-758-7240. The shelter is located at 5409 7th St.
