OBITUARY: Euverto Narvaez

Euverto Narvaez, 98, of Wasco, passed away on Dec. 25, 2020.

Euverto was born in Buda, Texas, to Fernando Narvaez Rocha and María Esther Moreno. In his early 20s, he met Maria Hiracheta; they fell in love in Los Rodriguez Nuevo León.

He is survived by his children, Jacinto Narvaez, José Ángel Narvaez, Arturo Narvaez, Rogelio Narvaez, Consuelo N. García, Gloria Narvaez, Jesus Narvaez and Bertha Narvaez, 29 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Euverto joins his beloved wife, Mere, and daughter María Esther N. Chapa.

Euverto was dearly loved by family and friends; he will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Visitation is 5 to 10 p.m. and Rosary at 7 p.m. on Jan. 7 at Bashum & Lara Funeral Care, 343 State Ave., in Shafter. Mass will be on Jan. 8 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wasco, with a graveside service to follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
