Sergio Acosta Jr., 24, of Shafter, was arrested for burglary: first degree, burglary in a state of emergency and felony bench warrant.

Michael C. James Thompson Smith, 30, of Shafter, was arrested for possession of controlled substance, and on an outside agency warrant, misdemeanor bench warrant and proof of financial responsibility.

Ezequiel Pedrizco, 47, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of 15th Street for felony child cruelty with the possibility of injury or death, threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize, and misdemeanor exhibiting a deadly weapon that was not a firearm. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Gregorio Valencia, 29, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of Poso Drive for disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 1

Ramon Reyna, 51, of Bakersfield, was arrested in the 2700 block of Flower Street for two counts of misdemeanor battery on a person and one count of felony threatening a crime with the intent to terrorize. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

David Zuniga, 28, of Wasco, was arrested in the 2600 block of Spruce Avenue for disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 2

Jose Guitron, 39, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1200 block of Highway 46 for felony possession of a manufactured short barrel shotgun, possession of a controlled substance while armed, an active bench warrant, prohibited ownership of ammunition, felon possessing a firearm, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm without a serial number. He was booked into the Kern County Jail

Andrea Ruiz Jimenez, 29, of Wasco, was arrested on two active felony bench warrants. She was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Landen Wayne Zellanack, 24, of Bakersfield, was arrested in the 1100 block of Highway 46 for misdemeanor possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

William Gregory Warren, 33, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of Poso Drive and E Street for contempt of court by violating protective order. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 4

Mindy Moreno, 32, of Wasco, was arrested in the 700 block of H Street for trespassing. She was cited and released at the scene.

Sept. 5

Johnny Carreon, 25, of Wasco, was arrested at the intersection of Prairie Rose Way and Poplar Avenue for felony hit and run resulting in injury, prohibited person owning ammunition, and on active bench warrant. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Sept. 6

Phillip Armendariz, 31, of McFarland, was arrested at the intersection of Griffith Avenue and 9th Street for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Elfego Mendoza, 47, of Lost Hills, was arrested at the intersection of Highway 46 and Western Avenue for misdemeanor driving without a license and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Juan Pelayo Martinez, 37, of Wasco, was arrested in the 2700 block of 7th Street for disturbing the peace by playing loud music. He was cited and released at the scene.
