Jan. 1
Israel Esquivel, 22, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of Poso Drive for possession of a narcotic substance for sale, transportation of narcotics for sale, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of burglary tools. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Max Salazar, 29, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1300 block of 11th Street for spousal battery and willful cruelty to a child. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Gustavo Adolfo Soto, 34, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of Poso Drive possession of a narcotic substance for sale, transportation of narcotics for sale, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a narcotic controlled substance and destroying/concealing evidence. He was booked into the Kern County Jail
Jan. 2
Benito Santiago Cruz, 40, of Wasco, was arrested in the 800 block of Broadway for disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Jan. 5
Miguel Baraza, 19, of Wasco, was arrested in the 1000 block of Broadway for disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Kern County Jail.

Gustavo!! I know that guy. There must have been some mistaken identity or something, because he does not partake in ANY kind of criminal mischief.. Known him a long time, & he’s strictly been nothing up a MODEL CITIZEN & the kind of person kids should inspire to be! Sounds like Wasco PD has nothing better to do then to pick on the weak and innocent to get their “Monthly Commission” #Sad They need a new sheriff in Wasco! Someone who is going to not only keep the citizens of Wasco, CA safe but also one that’s going to give back to the community as well!! #JustSayin
