    Visit the Wasco Animal Shelter and check out Barkley, a young male Wirehaired Terrier. He is a mix of brown, chocolate, yellow, tan, blond and fawn with a medium coat. Barkley gets along well with other dogs at the shelter and he would be good in a home with other dogs. He is approximate 1-2 years old.     Amala came in as a stray and is approximately a 2-year-old female pit bull terrier. Amala has a short gray/blue/silver and white coat and is a medium size.     Chase, a red and white Siberian husky, is still a puppy at 8 months old with big blue eyes. He may get bigger than he is since he is not full grown. Chase came to the Shafter Animal Shelter as a stray and has adjusted well. He has passed his SAFER dog evaluations and would be a great candidate for some training classes where he can learn basic commands and tricks. We would not recommend him around cats.     One of the Wasco Animal Shelter's longest residents and a young puppy are in need of homes. Badge is a 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who came in as a stray on April 6.
