    The second part of this year's Wasco Festival kicked off Saturday morning in downtown Wasco, with floats, marching bands, motor vehicles of all sorts and sizes, horses, and even a mule.     The Wasco Union Elementary School District received good news with the 2017-2018 Attention 2 Attendance report. The district ranked first out of four local school districts who also utilize the Attention 2 Attendance software program to track chronic absenteeism.     The Wasco Tigers continued their win streak Friday night on the road against Arvin, 28-0. The win brings the team's record to 4-4, with a 2-2 record in the South Sequoia League.
