There was excitement in the air on Monday, August 2, when students returned to school for regular classroom instruction after a year and half of isolation and working on classwork from home. Max Edward "Ed" Coleman passed away on Aug. 11, 2021, surrounded by loved ones following a valiant battle with cancer. Ed was born June 30, 1948, to Max and Alice (Dipple) Coleman. He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Crowe, of Redlands, on Sept. 14, 1968. They moved to Wasco, where they made their home and raised their family.
